Project Description
What prompted me to create this Tiki Go Go Vegetarian Feast Menu is that, many times when I design a dinner party these days, I often find that at least one of my guests will request not to be served any meat -and sometimes not any fish either. To provide a separate menu for vegetarian guests sometimes makes the guests embarrassingly aware of being the cause of extra effort. The simple answer is to cook a delicious meatless meal for everyone that no one will mind – or even notice -that they are eating a “vegetarian” meal.
Chef Kelley Hawks combines the colorful excitement of today’s eclectic light and healthy cuisine with wonderful vegetables, grains and fruit. Inspired by her great love of the sun-filled food of the Mediterranean. Giving your body the right nutrients to feel strong, youthful, and active as you age is super important. The Mediterranean diet is primarily a plant based eating plan. It is often promoted to decrease the risk of heart disease, depression, and dementia. Even though I am not personally a vegetarian – I find value in eating & serving more meat-less meals.

Our sample menus are meant only as an example or guide to get things started. For a meal to be a complete success it must consist of a well-balanced selection of dishes. When designing a vegetarian meal, a little more thought is needed to achieve the perfect balance of flavors, textures and colors.
