More and more Americans are adapting the English High Tea to their own use in home entertaining. A lovely, gracious way to entertain indoors or outside in a garden, the tea party has many uses: it is outstanding as an occasion in itself, for a wedding reception, a baby shower, an engagement party or graduation. It is most beautiful if slightly formal in its appearance; that is, using vintage porcelain teacups & saucers, sterling silver, garden flowers, white or pastel linens and cloth napkins.

Tiki Go Go creates a very memorable dining experience that really only a tea party can offer. Part of the allure is that tea party food is based in strict tradition, but the variations on tradition are limitless. Offering an assortment of tea sandwiches, canapes, deviled eggs, specialty bite-size baked goods like “Petite Four” tea cakes, Bon Bons, cream puffs and mini scones with herb & fruit jellies. Our retro Tiki Go Go Tea Party is truly a wonderful way to gather the Ladies together.

Our sample menus are meant only as an example or guide to get things started. In keeping with the late afternoon High Tea of Great Britain, we prefer for our Tiki Go Go Tea Parties to be held for two hours at about 4 to 6 o’clock. Of Course, depending on the occasion and location, the party may be earlier or later, the food more substantial or lighter, and the duration long or short.
